thkbaron
Figured I would keep tally of the things I've done to the truck and let others see. I apologize I have no before and after pictures because I had it built the way I wanted it from the dealer. I've changed a few things after the fact but not too much. All I know is my truck (in my opinion) looks a million times better than a white LT stock off the line. This is the list thus far.................. Air Lift 5000 Bags. (installed by me) bolt on Gibson stainless tip (put on by me) 285 65 18 Nitto Trail Grapplers (my choice) 18 inch +1 offset Fuel Pump Wheels (my choice) Color Matched bushwacker fendler flares (waldoch installed) 2 inch level. (the rear was left stock. Only the front was lifted) (waldoch installed) Husky Liner Xact fit floor liners (installed by me) Access original roll up tonneau deezee rubber bed mat (put in by me) spray in liner 3/8 motorsport tech spacers Removed part of the lower air dam. Waldoch in forest lake MN did most of the modification on it. There are a couple of front fender vents on it that they did as well. I just didn't care for the wheels and tires that were part of their M80 package so I opted to change them. When I traded my RAM I had the same wheels and tires and just couldn't give them up so as I wasn't able to get a -12 or -18 offset in the Pump wheel I ended up putting spacers on. I have zero vibration as they are hubcentric and wheel-centric. It's not my favorite option but it works. -18 would be best I think to line up the wheels with flares although it would be a tight squeeze with no rubbing. I'm close now with the setup I have. I don't have new pictures with the spacers but I will get them up as soon as I can. I'm currently debating a CAI and borla exhaust. My dealer offered a lifetime powertrain warranty so I will have all of that passed by them prior to doing it. I don't want to throw that away by doing something stupid. My truck has the locking rear diff with 3.73 rear end. To anyone who's contemplating whether or not to do it, I wouldn't go any other way.
Rawyzf
Waldoch is great, I ordered my Katzkins through them and had them install them as well. They did a great job. I live about 10 mins from there. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
thkbaron
what did they charge you for your katzkins w/ install?
Rawyzf
what did they charge you for your katzkins w/ install?I think it was about $1300 installed. I added blue stitching to match the truck, so that was an extra $100. I think you can get them from $1200ish installed if you don't customize them. thkbaron
That's actually quite reasonable. Can they do it in a day? I might save up for that. Really wish I had that option when I bought the truck. Only reason I ask is because I live 300 miles from Forestlake. haha

I bought my truck with cloth with full intentions of getting Katzkins installed with a year or so. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

th3r00st3r
Picked up my White 2016 1500 Silverado LT a week ago. She's a beauty. Putting some Raceline 981 Raptors on it 18x9 -9 offest with some Nitto Terra Grapplers 275/70r18. Also adding a 2 1/2" Rough Country Level Kit(Front Only). Getting them done tomorrow. Couple of questions: Did the Gibson tip change the sound any? I hear opposing opinions on spacers. Sepending on how the truck looks after I put on the new wheels and tires. How do you like them and do you see any long term effects to the hub\suspension using spacers? Truck looks magnificent! Thanks!
