After installing my UPR Oil Catch Can - http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/192702-allterrainx-2016-gmc-sierra-slt-all-terrain-x/page-2?do=findComment&comment=1935504

3 months/500 miles later (currently have 2017 miles), this is what I drained from it. So glad this crap isn't going into my motor.

Chocolatey appearance, oil and gas smell.

Ok, new to this catch can stuff. I always hear the Vette guys talk about it but never did ask. So what exactly does it do?

I'll try to search some threads and find some posts with good explanations and pictures. It's pretty much to keep all the gas and oil vapors from going back into the motor through the PVC and/or air intake/throttle body and gunk up the valves.

That explains it! By the way, only one guy in my country has a 2016 all terrain. Black as well. Sharp truck, didn't notice if his had the fogs at the top though.

  • 1 month later...

Finally got this in! Took them a month to get it to me. I was fed up with Bak Industries customer service :/ But cant wait to get this on soon.

How did this mod turn out??

You have good taste this option was my 1st choice as well, very low and doesn't pop up like the rest.

I have the All Terrain x as well w/the bar. Is it an issue with this cover?
