Truck Wash and Detail Process

Not sure if this is the right place to post, but what's everybody's process or steps when they detail/wash their truck. I don't know about you guys, but washing my truck is one of my favorite things to do lol.

First get quality products. Like Adam's Polishes(They are doing their Mystery box sell right now, a great way to get started)

I goto a detail shop 10 minutes away, for 40 bucks I have 6 people attack the truck and do in 20 minutes what takes me 5 hours, worth every penny

Good soap with lots of bubbles. Stay away from dish soap. I use griots wash and wax car wash. Then use speed shine to detail it.

You need to get out more often, son. But then again, I once enjoyed cleaning my truck too back in the day when I was younger and had nothing better to do Then I got old and cranky and yeah.

I powerwash, wash with 3m soap, polish, and seal. I need to get a machine, it takes forever by hand.

OP, I'm right there with you. Fairly safe to say I have OCD.

I started my collection and skills on my 2011 Camaro.

About every 3-5 months I clean, clay, correct the paint, seal the paint, and finally put some wax on top.

In between I just use detail spray, never use water or soap. After a while you can't sit anything on any surface that has an incline as it'll just slide right off. Not there yet on my new truck but I can't set anything on my Camaro. [emoji16]
