Fuddrucker
Sorry for sounding stupid on this, but so far I have found 3 different part numbers for my vehicle. I have been using Fram for the last 15 years and I am now going to switch to AC Delco for my oil and air filters. So far I have found the following AC Delco oil filter part numbers that say they are for my truck. PF44, 61, 46. The Fram part numbers show either PH3506, or 3675 are for my truck. On the AC Delco box for a PF44 oil filter, it says that it replaces the equivalent Fram filter with part numbers of PH3506, or 3675. I thought PF44 was the right one until I came across the other two AC Delco part numbers of PF61, and 64. I have a 2003 Chevy 2500HD LS. 6.0L gasser with oil cooler. Can someone verify that the PF44 is the correct oil filter. Thanks a Lot, and again, sorry if this makes me look really stupid.
jcilufo
I have the 6.0 also. The manual says the Delco # is PF59 which is what I'm using. It also gave that # on www.acdelco.com. I was able to do a backwards search on www.acdelco.com for PF59 and it gave 2002 2500HD 6.0 and others. When I put in PF44 it came up with the same but for 2003. You should check that site for your year. I wouldn't trust crossover charts.
