What 4 inch lift is everyone running?

Recommended Posts

I put a RC 2.5 leveling / lift on my 2014 GMC 1500 Denli truck earlier but I am thinking about putting a 4.5 Rancho on it now??? But not sure if I want to. I love the way the truck rides right now! Has anyone had any issues with these? What kind of ride do you get after installing?

I'm running a BDS 4". I would run a higher end lift personally. BDS is good quality with a great warranty. But I just wouldn't cheap out on a lift after dropping that much money on a Denali.

I have the stamped steel control arms and Super Lift was the only company that had a kit for those arms and would verify fitment on a 2017. Pretty much all of the spacer kits are about the same plus they will warranty anything the dealer will not because of the Lift kit. This is the kit I used but the part number you need may differ depending on what arms you have.

Tires are the new Cooper STT Pros, LT295/60R20s. They definitely make some noise but quieter them most MTs I've heard.

Truck sits at wheels at 40.5" Front and 42.25" Rear. Just the right amount of rake for me. I hate the sagging look when I tow my boat.

Yeah tires are a bit aggressive but not too bad. If you want ATs id recommend Toyo AT2 Extremes.

Only rubbing was on the back of the fender liners. I tied them back and all seems good. It's tight but clears.

You sure on those measurements? My RC 2.5 on 32" tires has my fenders at 39.5 and 40.75 respectively. Maybe we measured to different points...

I am running basically an icon stage 4 kit. 2.5" coilovers up front with remote resivoirs, 2.5 piggy backs in the rear with camburg UCA's. The coilovers where set to 3". My measurements are 40 1/2" up front and 41 1/2 in the rear. I am also running ride rite bags with 15lbs in them. My wheels are 22" XD menace 808 with a +12 offset and tires are Nitto Trail Grapplers in 285/55r 22. There is currently no running, however when I had these same wheels with Bilstein 5100's they did run so I had zip tied the front wheel wells back and shaved a little off the stick fender flares...not sure that would matter now.

You are correct. It's 40.5" front and 42.25" in rear. That's what I get for going off memory. [emoji51]
