Well i kept my 2008 for 8 years and it was time. I could either spend a bunch more money on it updating, replacing and upgrading or buy new. So i did! The big draw here for me was not touching the interior, and not having to black everything out on the exterior. I really hated the chrome on the regular ltz z71. Atleast on a black one.

First mods are in. I did the Air raid MIT intake tube, elite catch can and clean side separator. As far as i have read, it really only makes sense to do the intake tube and not a whole expensive kit. Well see. Ive always done a k & n, never did like cleaning and oiling it though. Ill add pics in the next post, im on mobile and it wont let me add more.

Okay i guess i just had to resize them. Anyways, heres the full shot, and a closer look at the catch can.

I also bought some Led reverse bulbs to swap out, but they just came and havent done it yet. I want a tonneau cover, but havent decided on one yet. From what i hear, trifolds are the way to go in cold snowy climates. I guess ice build really jams up the retractables? I would mostly be in and out of mine in the winter on ski trips so its important that it works well then. Ill probably just use a tote of some sort to store stuff in the bed like jumper cables, tie downs and straps. Id like to keep under my back seat free because i think ill stick to lifting the back seat up when i have the dog in there.

Exhaust will probably be after that but im not sure what yet. Ive always loved that flowmaster sound. Had a corsa on my last truck at the end and wasnt really a fan.
