TPMS issue

Hello all I am in need of some help , I own a 2016 2500hd and just purchased 20x9 fuel nutz wheels and oem sensors . I installed everything and can't get the monitors to program to the truck, I was using a Ateq vt15 programmer with zero luck, did a bunch of research online and found people who had issues programming sensors with the fuel wheel line for a reason saying the wheel metal is too thick which in never heard of, I am able to program one sensor , did anyone run across this and figure out a way to accomplish this. I hate to have to break down the wheels everytime I rotate the tires or to get them set, also is there a programmer that's better then another. Any help would be appreciated.
