I recently installed some aftermarket Tor mirrors on an 03 and the glass vibrates/shakes when driving on normal roads and on the highway. I was thinking about putting some left over Sound deadening on the back of the glass, as a way to mass load them to slow the shaking. I don't really mind the shaking too much but if I already have something that will help with it, it's worth a shot!? What are your thought about this?

Assuming the mirrors are manual-adjusting and I can readily remove the mirror or access the backside, I would probably try to find some lighter foam to put behind it. Alternatively, if you can remove the mirror, maybe try to adjust it's mounts, or put some glue on the mounting points to take up the slack (not to glue the mirror to the mount, but to just take up space to the mirror doesn't vibrate).

it's a power mirror and there really isn't any slack in the pivot.

Be careful.... I installed the factory option towing mirrors. The power glass (the flat) is held to the carrier with short screws into molded stand-offs.

Long story short, those standoffs are plastic, but not ABS. So, when they break you won't be able to plastic weld them.

The purpose of the standoff is so the telescopic mirror arms can fit behind the glass when retracted.
