LI_James' 2014 Silverado Double Cab LT Build

So I figured it was about time to finally start my build thread....so here it goes.

I'll preface this build with a little background. This is my first Chevy as well as my first pickup. I grew up working on Japanese cars, but once a wife, 2 kids and a house came in the mix I decided it was finally time to get a truck.

I bought this brand new at the end of 2014 in the LT trim level. I have since put about 17k miles on her and have been very happy.

Here's how she sits today:

First on the list was to upgrade the factory radio with a Kenwood eXcelon DNN992 7" Navigation unit.

Factory Steering wheel Integration/Chimes/Onstar were handled with a PAC RP5GM51

The front door speakers were replaced with Alpine SPR-60C 6.5" Components with the tweeters mounted in the A pillars

The Rear door speakers were replaced with Alpine SPR-60 6-1/2" Coaxial 2-Way's

Having two kids, currently ages 5 and 3 in the back for long road trips with no entertainment can be rough.

I opted to put in some Kenwood LZ-612LR 6.1 inch Rear Seat Monitors.

Components got mounted inside the drivers seat:

Thanks! I'm in Middle Island so we are basically neighbors lol

I'm assuming you got the Tungsten Metallic? I love that color, it was my original choice.

Yup... my Fiance is in Ridge so im through the area all the time. Ill keep a look out for your truck. I originally wanted red or blue but they had the tungsten on on the lot and i fell in love. If you see one with a big ol jets decal on the back that's me hahaha
