Is there a way to get rid of AFM drone with aftermarket exhaust\?

Recommended Posts

The GM Borla exhaust has the flapper valve as part of the new catback system but it still does not completely mask the helicopter. I guess to a lot of people the sound difference from V8 to V4 is just fine but I just do not like it. I got the Hypertech tune put in this morning and set the AFM to only come in after 50mph everything seems to be working perfectly. I thought at first that I had a problem with the HVAC but I guess it was where I had removed the fuse to program (per hypertech instructions) and it had to be started and driven a couple of times to recalibrate itself. So far so good. Only issue that I see is Hypertech still has not broken the code for the 8spd transmission so nothing can be changed in those settings or for the throttle response. They are working on it, so they say and should have it ready for download soon.Once I get those options downloaded I am going to set the 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd shifts to chirp the tires for me LOL
