Anyone need a Chevrolet private offer?

Can someone tell me what a Chevy private offer is? I'm unfamiliar.

When you are on the Chevy site you get a pop up with the private offer. This is basically a free $1000

Only $1,000 off?

I am not sure I understand your comment.

"Only $1K?"

This is what you do. You make your BEST deal and then you pull the P.O. out of your pocket and then you get another thousand off. Let's see what could I buy for another thousand dollars?

Running Boards? Tonneau Cover, any number of accessories. There have been people here who have offered a bounty of $100 for $1000 P.O.

I had GM Family Pricing on my '16 Silverado, and I still loved the fact that I saved another $1000. If anything it would knock some off of your payment.

Considering how grossly overpriced these trucks are, they could dangle a bigger carrot. The mark up is insane, even worse on the Mexican built trucks.

I get that. But hey most people don't even know about PO's. When I handed over mine or told him that I had it he acted like he didn't know what it was and wanted to know how I got and our family have been buying Chevy vehicles from him for probably close to 20 years. I look at it as a bonus. The fact that they even let you stack it with other monthly incentives is really shocking. The fact that I could stack it with GM Employee Pricing was shocking and welcomed.
