Am I nit picking?

So I take my truck in for an oil change, and when I go to leave I noticed they didn't reset the Oil Life Remaining numbers. So I go back in and someone comes out and fixes that.

I get home and park the truck, and I notice greasy hand prints all over the fenders, hood, and driver's door.

I would think they should have used fender covers.

I would hope they at least just wipe the grease off.....they don't need to wash the truck.

So would they have test drove the vehicle getting grease on the steering wheel and who knows where else they put their greasy hands?

So I want to go back today and show them the truck with all the grease on it.

Do you think I should or am I just nit picking?

How are you supposed to recommend a place when you are not happy with them?

No I wouldn't be happy either. I just picked up my 2015 from the local dealer yanking out the transmission and putting it back in and it wasn't covered in grubby handprints or oily spots. That's just sloppy and a piss poor way to treat the customer. Just go in and talk to the service writer and I am sure they will do something about it..... if they give attitude well... you know don't go there again.

No matter what you have done, your truck, or anything for that matter, should be returned to you looking the same as it did before the work was done. You have every right to complain.

Your truck should be in no less a condition when you pick it up than when you dropped it off. If they didn't care about making it clean (which you will see and takes all of about two minutes), what else didn't they care about because they figured you can't see it?

I used to work on small airplanes and sometimes corporate jets. Let me tell you if you left a dirty finger or foot print in someone's $20M jet, you HEARD ABOUT IT. Second time, you likely got fired.
