Mahogany Metalic Nation Pics

Recommended Posts

I have seen some threads for other colors trucks to post pics of their rides. The Black Thread is very popular with over 50 pages. Mahogany Metalic seems to be a very uncommon color for our trucks. I do not think I have seen another one here in Atlanta. Well, not in the 3 weeks since I bought mine.

The pics do not do this color of any justice. They do not show the red tint well. Makes it look more plain chocolate brown.

That being said, here are some pics of my Mahogany Metalic Sierra.

  • 3 weeks later...

Both Look Good.

Someone contacted me and asked if I wanted to buy color matched mirror and door handle covers. But I like the chrome. The paint is so dark, I think the chrome makes it pop.

And yes, we do seem to be the minority here. Heck, my dealership had dozens of Black, White, and Greys. This was the only Mahogeny Metallic at any dealership here in Atlanta.

Exactly the same situation when I bought mine...

You seem to have gotten my truck's twin.

Is that a premium plus package?

Yes Sir. Premium with Z71 and Trailering Package. Looks like our major difference are the wheels.

Yeah, I am posting on my iPad. So little easier to see. Old eyes need the bigger screen!

Yeah, mine has those shiny blinky blinky chrome wheels. Wouldn't have necessarily been my first choice in wheels, but still like them. My '07 Sierra had the brushed Aluminum wheels, and, like many others also indicated, they started flaking after a few winters. Clearly started where some ape obviously "missed" a lug nut with an air ratchet during a tire rotation.

Wife's ('08) Enclave has the chrome wheels, and hers look brand new to this day. Thus, I was more than cool with the chrome wheels.

I like yours tho.

Also have the Z71 and trailer package on mine...

Another difference on his truck. The headlights are different than ours. Looks like there is another bulb inside between the headlight lens and the grill. Wonder if that is another Canadian difference due to their DOT requirements compared to U.S. Requirements?
