No. Those exhaust kits with those part numbers were new for 2016 year, but will fit 2014+. There are a completely different set of part numbers for the Borla by GM exhaust. The 8 numbers I posted on the front page, the Corsa made ones, are Double and Crew Cab only. The GM/Borla systems cover all the cab configurations and have two different exit designs (dual split under the bumper, and dual out of the passenger side). The GM Performance system (the Corsa ones) are only single pipe with passenger side exit.

OK....but this screenshot has been saved to my phone since before I bought my 2015 All Terrain, well before the X Package was even announced.

Picked up a new 2016 All Terrain X, at first there was no change in the exhaust sound. A few days later the dealer called and said I need to come pickup my "muffler" - which is a dealer installed item that was supposed to come with the truck. Turns out its a complete cat back exhaust, the sound is much louder, but no drone and quiet when light on the throttle. Sounds just right. Came in a large box - I could try to get the technician to provide more details or I can post pics if needed. Also they gave me my stock exhaust to bring home.

Could you post a picture of the new muffler? I just purchased my All Terrain on monday and noticed that the muffler on it it huge! just want to compare to see if I have the right exhaust. Or perhaps I need to check with the dealer on this swap!

Cheers,

Meethead

Yep - to clarify it was an exhaust system after all. The reference to muffler was just how the salesman described it. Next thing I saw my truck on a lift with my entire exhaust system on the floor.

at this point in the thread it would seem helpful to others too. I'll post pics of any stamps or rollmarks, the tip, and if it has a flapper or not, etc. I get comments all the time and honestly don't know if I have a corsa or borla at this point but will look into it further.

Damn, poor bastards who paid $5k for a performance off road package that can be had for $900 of existing aftermarket parts. Smh

I think as a package on the car I managed more of a discount (jury still out) then I would have part by part retail. My preference is OEM so the criteria is different. I got 20% discount from GMC + $2,500 from dealer on the truck. The X package is discounted on sticker as well when combined with All Terrain + All Terrain Premium/Plus + All Terrain X. Have to check this.

Do like the rubber mats that cover the door sill and end to end carpet.

All Terrain X Package (MSRP)

- Assist Steps - Off-Road = $795.00

- Performance Exhaust = $1,195.00

- Rear Floor Liners (edge to edge) - Premium All-Weather = $80.00

- Front Floor Liners (edge to edge) - Premium All-Weather = $110.00

- Sport bar = $895

- Wheels? count them not sure.

- X package discount on sticker (have to check but around $1200ish)

Didn't have to install anything - even though I enjoy that, under warranty @ GMC, warranty void BS for the uninformed services reps.

Happy this route, was also happy buying aftermarket too piece by piece before -its just where im at personally these days.

Floor mats were a bonus - never knew they existed until I saw the truck in person.

aftermarkets ones in my amazon cart but didn't need them anymore (they totaled $250ish)

Could your do me a solid, and crawl under the truck and just take pictures of the whole thing? like cats all the way back? perhaps a measurement of how long the muffler is too?

My muffler is the size of a small radiator!! SERIOUSLY ITS 28+" long

Here are pics of my exhaust, sorry the site is flipping my photos however it pleases

I notice it looks like the single exit tip clamps on. Makes me wonder if one could put the dual side exit corsa tips on that exhaust.

I really like this thread. So do you have the helicopter sound in v4 with this exhaust. I can't make my mind up between this and the Borla. Thank you!

I dont have the helicopter sound on the truck. but then again it only has 200 miles. I called the dealer and asked about the performance exhaust and told them that I think mine is just stock. I emailed the pictures to the service guy to see what he thought. his exhaust guy is not in till monday :(

You would have the helicopter sound at any mileage if the flapper is removed. Check and see if you have the muffler, followed by the flapper, and then the resonator. If you do than you have the stock exhaust.

No flappers that I can see. I dont see how this is called a performance exhaust when the muffler is the size of a water heater.

Thank you for the pics. Yeah you have the performance exhaust for sure. That muffler is a straight through design that is Corsa's touring muffler iirc. The size is probably used to keep the sound down while not hurting performance.
