Actually, it appears there are cabin filters for purchase.

 

The 'getting my butt up' thing indicated body - and apparently brain - fatigue.

Yes replace them once a year or so, they get very dirty

If you bought the truck new, then no.

 

If used then it would depend on if previous owner added one.

 

GM sells a kit to add it if truck doesnot have it.

Yes and you can download the owners manual and save it on your iPad, this way you don't need to walk out to the garage.
