2015 6.0L Hesitation

Hi Guys,

 

I just turned over 10K miles on my 2015 2500. It has run like clockwork since new. A couple days ago I thought the truck felt like it was down on power when accelerating in 3rd gear. It did it again this morning in 2nd gear. The engine has definite miss or hesitation but it does not do it all the time. Any suggestions on what to check? I am really hoping it is as simple as bad gas.

HM maybe run it buy service dept let them see if it has any codes. Or wait till you refill your tank and run it thru and see if it still acts up. These 6.0 are pretty bulletproof engines might have got some funky gas like you said.

I also just made the correlation that my Yamaha generator has been running funky for the last two days. (we are camping) I filled my gas can with the same gas that is in my truck. I NEVER have issues with my generator. I hope that's what it is. I will post back with updates.

Mine will stutter occasionally, usually when it gets confused about what gear to be in...

It seems to have cleared up with a new tank of gas.
