Emblem removal issue

Recommended Posts

It could be some left over adhesive. Like the previous post you can take some WD-40 and a good I quote good microfiber towel not the kind that you'll find that most of your local parts stores and remove it with that. The residual stuffing that is there looks like it's going to take some buffing to fix it if you were here in Atlanta I'll be happy to do that for you. Free of course because I just like doing it. ;) (I also do high-end detailing has a hobby.... and while I would never own a black truck I certainly appreciate how good they look when they're done correctly. :) The one I picked up a week ago is siren red tintcoat BTW.) ;)

Thanks for the replies. Tried the WD40 and it didnt work. Thanks for the offer LTZdaddy but im a few states away in California. Took it to a local detail shop here and he used some compound to polish out the residue. Came out really nice.

Yeah well... if you get up early (three days early) you can pop over here and we'll jump right on it. ;)

Glad you found the right guy for the problem. Now you take that bill back to the guys that screwed it up. :)
