Wanted: 2014 Silverado LTZ Grille (honeycomb)

Hey everyone, I've got a '14 Silverado z71 LT with the chrome grille surround and black horizontal bar inserts. I'm wanting the honeycomb style inserts (haven't settled on black or chrome yet) and, if I've researched correctly, I will need the entire grille surround from an LTZ (or any truck that came factory w/ the honeycomb style) in order to accommodate the honeycomb inserts. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong please, before this little endeavor becomes a disaster lol.

 

So, either.. 1) I'm looking to buy the grille surround as well as the honeycomb inserts or 2) trade someone my chrome z71 grille surround and black horizontal bar inserts for their surround and honeycombs. Doesn't matter if either one are black or chrome.

 

I'd of course much rather trade and it'd be even sweeter if someone in my area is interested in trading. I'd be willing to drive a reasonable distance to make it work. I'm located outside of Roanoke, VA.

LT and LTZ both have the chrome honeycomb grill options, just FYI. Doesn't have to be just the LTZ.

I made a similar post on another board and somebody informed me of that. I thought only the LTZs had em.

 

I think the honeycomb grille is sexy, but I'm startin to think it's not that much sexier than the one I have to justify spending a couple hundred on it. However, I'd still love to trade my z71 grille for a honeycomb style if anyone's interested

Id be willing to trade you my chrome honeycomb LT grille, on the Z71 grille, if you remove the Z71 badge does the grill look normal without it?

Actually I just removed the z71 badge a few days ago to try my hand at blacking it out. There's a flat section where it mounts..two small stud holes for alignment and it's adhesive mount.

 

The LTZ grille badges clip I think, but the LTZ lettering like whats on the tailgate would look great in its place. I'll post some pictures in a little while
