Overhaul Suspension w/ 2.5" lift

Recommended Posts

Hey guys - I'm the proud new owner of a 2011 Silverado LTZ 6.2L. It has 88k miles. This truck was used extensively to pull a large camper so I am looking to overhaul the front and rear suspension as well as lift it 2.5". It also has the "chevy lean" which I am looking to correct at the same time.

Here's my thoughts:

Front:

- Bilstein 5100 Adjustable Shocks

- New Coil Springs - Does anyone know where I can find these online?

Rear:

- New leaf spring packs

- Bilstein 5100 Shocks

2.5" Lift - Not sure what brand to go with yet... Any suggestions? I've looked at Rough Country and Motofab so far. I'd like to keep a little rear rake so when I tow, it doesn't sag the rear end below the front.

My plan is to run the front shocks at the stock height (they only go to 2" and not 2.5") since I'll be running the spacers on the front. I am thinking if I need to go up one setting to resolve the lean, that shouldn't be an issue. Thoughts/suggestions?

I have the Camburg 2.5 kit and love it. Its a bit pricey but well worth the money. Just went off road yesterday and its night and day with how it rides. https://camburg.com/shop/suspension

Thanks for the input. I'll check them out. Your truck looks good!
