Mine looks the same as yours pretty much. My side is good but wife's side is starting to crack and get splotchy.

Did you 60 grit the entire surface or just the "bad" areas?

Thanks for the reply. Did you use "rock solid" the first time. I'm curious as I used regular rustolem and wonder how the rock solid will go over it.

No I used the rustoleum professional. I spoke with rustoleum and they said as long as I cleaned and sanded the floor it would go on fine

What do they consider a one car garage and how much $ per box? Reason I ask is I have a 40x40 pole building I was debating between epoxy and just a clear sealer - didn't know what the price difference would be and pros and cons with epoxy vs a clear sealer

A 1 car kit was like $100 plus $100 for clear coat. I forget the size I think the box shows in the original post let me look

You want a garage floor done right, my brother in law is the wizard to call.  He did Jay Leno's garage that Jay uses for all his autos, motorcycles, etc and does his auto show broadcast stuff from.  His name is Mark Hunt and is recognized as a master of floor coatings.  None of that Menard's, Loses, Home Depot sort of stuff.   A job that will last for decades and can have your floor ready to use in 2 hrs after beginning the application process.  He will sell the product he uses, but obviously will not guaranteed the work.   He does have different people throughout the U.S that he has trained and use the same quality products he uses.  Not the cheapest thing going, but this is one area where you get what you pay for.

It looks good and all but I wont put that in a "working " garage where you will be welding, torching etc. The splatter from welding and torch splatter goes right through it.

we have that type of floor in garages at work and they are basically only a showroom now cant do anything on them gotta take to other garage.

With no texture any fluid spills and youre on a skating rink!!
