The I finally paid off my trucks celebration thread

Hear hear!:cheers: No payments is a good life!

I paid mine off after 3 long years. I couldn't imagine dragging that out for the full 6 or 7 year note I had on it. What a stupid amount of money that was. Last time I make that mistake!

My mortgage feels like a never-ending wormhole. Been paying for 13 years, and have sent in MANY extra principal payments. Seems like that damn number just will not budge. STILL 6 figures!! I've still got a couple years yet before the "break even" point of equal principal & interest payment. :(

Debt sucks!

Last April, I had $4,000.00 sitting in the bank and I got the bank statement that said I earned .07 cents interest.

I said what the hell, and sent in the balance I owed in one payment.

It feels different not paying on a vehicle, it is like it is not a new truck anymore.

Congrats! Both of my vehicles will be paid off in the next couple of months also! Then it's try to put some in savings so when the time comes to buy another one, hopefully we'll have the cash for it. So many dang Dr and dentists and orthodontist bills though. LOL

No more breaking down for me. I'll build my own vehicles going forward. :)

I drove mine hauling campers outta factories in Indiana. Both bought new, 10k down on the 2010. After 200,000 miles about 14 monthes payed off. The second one 2013 payed cash up front. Had over 500,000 miles on the 2010.
