what the hell are you smoking?  I live in the truck capital of the united states and there are 10 old Chevy trucks to ever 1 Ford and Dodge.  Sorry son, your argument don't hold shit around here.

Lol, Exactly?  I live in No salt, no rust capitol of the united states and there are probably 10 Chevy trucks to every 1 Ford..It's apparently obvious here because there is no corrosion whatsoever!  What is left on the road is pure overall durability and maintenance and some luck......and they are simply not Ford trucks....

Update. As the noise gets worse you can down shift in manual mode to make it more audible while off the throttle. If you mash the brakes enough to get the nose of the truck to drop the sound will stop. I can replicate this any time at any speed at any rpm. Just keep some peddle to maintain load on the engine.

So, that means there’s is either something moving downward and or forward that is causing the noise or the engine is moving slightly downward or slightly forward making the noise stop.

Everyone with this noise noise give this a shot and see if it holds true.

Confirmed on mine as well.

I highly doubt it’s the motor mounts. My money is on an exhaust leak at the sealing donut from manifold to pipe. It’s load dependent and usually exhaust leaks are pretty pronounced under load.

My mounts were were replaced for shitty idle. (Still idles rough anyways) I believe the manifolds were removed to do so. I never had a peep out of the engine before that service was performed.

God if help us if something internal is effected by external factors. Hopefully I’m finished with it next week sometime when I’m driving something different.

I've got long tube headers and an aftermarket cat back. Ball flange was replaced with a V band. Noise is still there

Shit I forgot you did that. So, it has to be fuel system related ?  I was laying under mine the other day with it in park and it sounded pretty noisy in the torque converter area. It seems like in my truck the noise only happens in TQ lockup. I wonder if it has something to do with the TQ. I just can’t see a smaller force like braking effecting that.

Maybe its it’s a fuel supply or return line moving around ? I zip tied my return line at a different angle the other day and that didn’t change anything.

Fuel or transmission is the best I can figure

Only other thing I can think of is something in the valve train. Mine got louder after long tubes.

What about pcv solenoid noise? I just can’t understand how it would be valvetrain noise as it only happens after warming up the engine.
