Predator Programmer

Recommended Posts

Do any of you all have any information on the predator programmer? Does it make a big performance difference? I am considering on for my 2003 silverado HD with a 6.0 gas engine. Is it worth the money?

Thanks!

Yes,

Define Big, Noticeable, yes; big, maybe not. I'd need to look at my G-tech results to get you an exact number.

I think it was worth it or I would have taken advantage of the money back guarantee!

Of course this is with an early Iron head 6.0

Shifts feel better and the speedo is correct now as well!

Jim,

Sorry, been out of town. Spindles are working great! About 20K on them now. I'd do it again.

Yes, High octane is a requirement. I did back the timing on mine slightly as it was pinging and retarding just a bit while towing this weekend. I do mean slight, I was the only one that could hear it. This was with “oxygenated” 90 octane fuel in Colorado. I have ran 89 octane a few times and it will ping a bit. I’ll pay the $4.00 extra when I fill up for the extra performance.
