My 03 Silverado

Tungsten

Recommended Posts

Its a 2003 Silverado Z71 Ext Cab. I like this truck a lot more then my 2002 Sierra, I really like the extra room with the ext cab, The bucket seats are a lot more comfortable. The new gauge cluster looks better and the dual climate control is really nice to have. The passenger side window is Auto Down just like the drivers side now. The bose stereo also sounds real good. And the 2003 Mirrors are pretty cool, They are auto darken, power folding, blinkers, heated and have flood lights. All I did so far was a TB crank, I am going to get it tinted, and put my 285's on it as soon as I get my Computer programer to adjust for the wheel size. I also have to put my Corsa Exhaust on. Let me know what you guys think!

Definitely a good price on the flares......... sigh. I just purchased an Infinity Basslink so gotta hold off in spite of the bargain. Easy, Mr. Wallet!

I installed the roof lights. They are Pacer High Five units. **Somewhere** on this board I have a message about them. Additionally, I purchased the GM roof light wiring harness which plugs into a socket in the passenger-side fuse panel.

They look good! Have you installed your Baselink yet? I am thinking about getting one to go with the bose system.

Thanks...

I just installed the BassLink today and am in the process of fine tuning it. I really like it and gives me what I want: low end bass. This allows me to keep my OEM radio for a while. After a year or so, I'll replace it.

The BassLink is good, but is not really meant to be a nose-bleed thumper in traffic. A separate amp and separate subwoofer speaker and enclosure is the best set up. But the small size of the BassLink and its ease of hookup fit my purpose.

I'd suggest doing a lot of reading on this board and elsewhere before making a decision on getting the BassLink. I love it.
