The quality and detailed work on this truck is fantastic, keep it coming!

If you don't mind me asking, how much was the steering wheel? Difficulty level 1 through 10?

Thanks man I really appreciate that, It's getting there. Much more in store for this truck.

IIRC the wheel was $194. Skill level is about a 4. Just make sure you keep the nut on a few threads when you are pulling on it so it doesn't rip wires that go through the wheel from the clock spring. Everything else is self explanatory plug & play. 20mins took off 12yrs

Hmmm ya might be right. It's a Z71 so I believe it does and the stockers I thought they were 16's but just checked and they are 17's.

Thank you, that could've been bad haha. I had 16's on my 03 Sierra so thought I could do the same with the avy

I believe the big brakes came to everything in '04.

You happen to do the stepper motors while you were in there? Halfway there lol. Unless you had them done previously.

I was going swap them out too but the solder sucker I have isn't the best. It's ok for lights and clearing out wholes on the board not for steppers. I'll have to get a better solder sucker to comfortably replace them.

Good thing is I haven't had an issue with them yet. I think it was my fuel pump sending unit when I thought it was the stepper malfunctioning. After I replaced the fuel pump sending unit, no gauge issues

More oil leak chasing today. I was gonna pull the trans and replace the rear main seal and RMS cover gasket but thought I'd try replacing the oil pressure sensor and valve cover gaskets first. All were in a pretty poor state
