So finally had time to install my new pump. All was strait forward except for every line going into the sender was rusted. We had to cut them off and then work to get them free.

You can see if ya look close the return inlet was just pissing fuel from a pin hole in the sender inlets.

Not much room to work between the fuel tank and driveshaft

The inlets were rusted and soft enough to cut through them with a pair of side cutters or dykes as we call em haha

...and this was what we were left with ugh.

After about 45mins of scraping and pulling we finally thought to use some extractor bits. Went fast after that.

New pump/sending unit in. The Bosch unit fit like a glove along with a new acdelco locking ring. There were slot of reviews saying the Bosch o-ring was too big. I'm almost positive they were trying to install the lockring upside down haha

foot in pic for reference of the size of this huge 31gal tank haha

So it took about 2 hours but would've been closer to 1 if it wasn't for the stupid rust. Getting close to having all the maintenance items done on this truck ?

I installed a spectre open element air filter before I start to tune and really noticed my engine bay was horrid. So I cleaned it and did some quick detailing
