Can anyone Verify Green Keys

You need to post a pic of the tag that is zip tied to the keys, that is where the part number is. The number that you show on the keys is the same for all keys. What's up with the green towel??? Mine only came with a green mark on them

I believe they all have the same part number but have the different painted spots on them. Should be a dab of pale green paint on them. Your stockers should have a purple spot. I think there are about five colors all together but the green is what you want for the lift.

032500HD,

Do you have any pics of your truck with all the mods? How do you like the go rhino chrome wheel to wheel steps?

Thanks for your input.

Don't have a way to post a picture yet, but e-mail me your addy and I will send you some.

Bought the bars off E-bay ($207 new in the box) and was never told they were wheel to wheel bars. Didn't really care for them at first but I decided to put them on anyway for the $ I had in them. Look is growing on me and I get alot of looks and positive comments on them.

My only problem with them is that I get an echo from the exhaust out of them. Only at 1500 RPM, it sounds like I have loud duals on it. I am going to fill them with the expandable foam to see if that helps.

PP, I went with a 6" two jaw gear puller with a 5.5" reach. Did one side with a large C-clamp, but it didn't survive on the pass. side. Very easy mod to do, just take your time.

8100HD,

I am stopping by after to work to pick up the gear puller and hopefully have them on this weekend. I will post before and after pics.

THanks again for your help

03GMC2500HD,

Dude Nice Truck :eek::cool:

I like the Wheel to Wheel Steps! I searched EBay and couldn't find any for a crew cab, but found some for an extended cab. Are those Hummer Wheels? They Look Awsome! :D:seeya: . Just picked up the craftsmen Puller hopefully all goes well and I can take it in on Saturday for an alignment.

Again Very nice Truck.

Thanks for all your help.

Isn't the internet awesome. If it wasn't for the internet and the plothora of information, I bet ya I would have paid close to $500.00 to have this mod installed.

Again Thanks to everyone.

Thanks for the compliments on the truck. Those bars are Go Rhino's, not sure if Westin makes them but have you seen the J&J Milenium bars by J7J enterprises? Pretty sweet but pretty pricey! The wheels are Weld "EVO" Velocity 8 in chrome. Did research on wheels/tires the whole time my truck was being built. I am very happy with them.

I agree on the internet thing. I try to do as much research on mods as I can before I proceed. Hate wasting money or getting the wrong parts. Exhaust is next on the agenda and I am checking with Borla now on a new system they are working on for our trucks. Can't believe they don't have something already. They are prototyping them now.

Let me know if I can ever help, Thanks!

Gary

OTC Division of SPX Corp. GM Torsion Bar Unloading Tool Order# OTC7822A $135.95 List Price$77.25 On Sale!

GM's K-35 series trucks with the heavy-duty chassis require heavy-duty tools to deal wih the larger torsion bar. The larger C-frame opening on the 7822A accommodates the beefed-up torsion bar on these trucks holding it in place while you loosen or tighten the adjusting nut. Also works on 1988 and newer GMC and Chevrolet 1/2- 3/4- and 1-ton pickups; S-10 Blazers S-15 Jimmys 4WD pickups with 4.3L V-6 engines; and 1991 and newer Olds Bravada.
