does anyone know anything about this performance chip? good, bad or indifferent? just curious. I know the old saying "you get what you pay for". But just to get a little added boost. Any info would be helpful.

It will. This is absolutely junk. All it does is make the truck think air temperature is cooler. Don't buy it or any other "chip". Completely useless.

Stay away from the "chips". Get a tune or a handheld tuner.
