Push Pins worth their weight in gold!

I don't mind paying $40K plus for a vehicle, but I do mind paying GM $4 each for a replacement push pin. Seems those plastic retainers with the push in to lock replacements are sold for around $4 each while they can be bought on Amazon or Ebay in packs, around 300 for $20.

Spare part sales and service are what keeps the lights on at dealerships. Their markup sucks but that's how it is.

There even pricy @ parts stores and come in a pack with 3 or 4 kinds. So ya throw away half of them

That is why I go to Lowe's to get my replacement push pins. When I picked up the replacement panel for under the hood, the push pins were $4 for a two pack and needed 7. Went to Lowe's got 8 pins for $4 and now have a spare in case I need to replace another one somewhere.

I bought a pack of 50 or so from Amazon for my truck. Thankfully the front door panels don't use them so I never need any for there.

I will say that, while the markup is atrocious, it sure is nice to have a dealer when you're looking for obscure parts.
