I have had this truck for a year and decided to make a build thread just for fun. I haven't taken great pictures of the upgrades but I will add as I find them.

Its a 2015 Silverado LTZ Z71, Ordered the way I wanted, including the 6.2L with 8 speed.

After the 2" RC level.

Then I added BMF wheels 20x9 +12mm offset with Cooper Discover AT3's 275/60/20. Loved the ride and look, just wasn't aggressive enough for me. Also somewhere I added 20% tint all the way around. Including over the factory stuff.

So I decided to swap tires and get Cooper STT Pros in 295/55/20. The look is great and not to loud but my MPGs crashed. I'm am still considering swapping back to the AT3's.

I added Amp Research steps as well, best modification so far. I will update if I remember more.

wow, those cooper tires are a world apart from a looks standpoint - they look a LOT better than the old ones, more beef and more teeth. how bad was the MPG tradeoff, about 3 mpg?

Love the look with the STT. I'm considering that as my next tire. The A/T3 is nice, but just not real aggressive.

Yeah its hard to go back after I saw the look difference, I went from hitting around 20mpg to about 15.5 - 16mpg.

It's crazy what a tire will do to your mileage. I'm running a 6 ply A/T3, and it sure doesn't help it. First LT series tire I've ever put on a truck. I'd probably do it again though.

I didn't realize how much of a hit you take on those tires - that's a good chunk of mileage dropoff - 20% reduction just because of tires! but then again, a lot would spend a whole bunch of money on a 6"lift with 35s for looks and their mileage drops even more...I would probably do that lol

Yeah I have a struggling battle of looks vs MPG 3-5 MPG more over a 26 gal tank adds up fast!

same here - 4 mpg less over a year could cost anywhere from $600-800....the things we do for looks...
