I just installed a 4 inch BDS lift kit and absolutely love it. Here are some highlights:

- 4 inch block kit with rear Fox shocks

- 20x9 Fuel Mavericks 5.5 BS wrapped in 285/65r20 BFG KO2's

- no trimming or rubbing

- 5.3L engine with 3.08 gears

- 21 mpg b4 lift and 18 mpg post lift, both measured on highway

- fender to ground measurements b4 lift were 37 front and 39 rear; now it is 43 front and 43.75 rear

- ride quality is better than stock except at highway speeds

Know this was posted a while back, but I've been looking for someone with this exact setup! Looks awesome! Also the only other person I know that decided to just go for it with the 3.08 gears (mine is same). I'm not quite getting 18mpg though. Did you re-tune? About a month ago I did the exact same wheel/tire combo, but went with a 305/55r20 instead. I crossed my fingers and did the RC leveling kit, but I'm rubbing at full lock so I'm looking at the BDS 4". If there's no rubbing with your tires, I think I should be alright.

My only hesitation about installing the lift is not knowing the exact height it will take the roof of the truck to. Any chance you've taken a measurement? I drive through a parking garage every day, so just want to make sure I'll clear before I take the plunge. Thanks for sharing! Love the truck!

Here's a quick pic of mine when I brought it home:

I have a 4.5 inch lift with 305/55/20. My garage door is 80 inches tall. My truck has about 3 inches of clearance. I did cut a few inches off the antenna because it rubbed. I haven't had any clearance issues in any commercial parking garages either.

Check for this to solve your vibration f9a677f3069ecc1dff8bd9bb841f03ba.jpg

That little clip on the stud that's a photo of the rear fronts don't have it rears do when I did my wheels and tires I read that other members had this issue so I took it off when I upgraded to bigger tires 285/65/18 k02 and iv had no vibration and rides good common thing over looked

My guess is to hold the rotor on during production.

I did some research and found the exact same answer. They hold no purpose after production. Our stock wheels are countersunk and don't touch the clips. Aftermarket wheels however, are sometimes not countersunk. So when you torque down the wheel it's not sitting flat against the rotor. I took my wheels off to have a look. I had two clips on each hub. I have stock wheels but I removed the clips anyway. Pics below. c462d2a61e915abebe833ebd8039ddd5.jpg904e41e2c2b3a83f2258da75c86a8c7c.jpg
