I own a fully loaded 2016 Silverado High Country 6.2L, and will trade it if these options available:

1- 40 gallons Larger fuel tank

2- Rear AC vents

3- 360 degree camera

4- full flat cab floor

5- panorama roof

6- LT4 corvette engine option

I don't think any of those 6 items will make it.

More Cameras, better tow mirrors, Perhaps we need to get back to the days where there were fewer differences between the 1/2, 3/4 and 1T trucks in the body department - having the same body panels would make the cost lower. I remember back in the 70's the only way to tell the trucks apart was the 10/20/30 on the fender.

 

I see composites over aluminium - esp with the recent ads pitting steel against i - see the bear cage ad.

 

Would like to see a small block diesel for the 1/2T + Tahoe and Burbs.

 

Would like to see a replacement for the 6.0L gasser. Perhaps an extension of the Hybred concept into the full sized and HD trucks - maybe they will have a new and better storage battery by then.

 

They already have changes in store for the 2017 models - or are the mules I have seen in the spy photos just a ruse and they are not going to be here until 2018?

 

No matter what, I am going to make my 07HD last until 19 or 20 - she has 85K on her now and is still going strong.

Well I did not make my 07 last until 19/20 - I have a new 17 on order to replace her. I happen to have come into some serious $$ and was able to pay cash so it made since to pull the trigger now rather than later. I have also been looking at retiring a bit earlier than expected - my boss is willing to let me work part time in a year or two - got to get to 62/63 to draw SS. Our busy time is fall-spring so I could take summers off to travel. So we may be on the road for several weeks at a time.

With everyone liking the performance of these trucks, why not add a supercharged 6.2 option??

I'd like to see the memory function be a single touch to adjust, rather than holding it in until it's done adjusting. I could care less about the rear seat vents, I'm never back there lol. Blind spot assistance would be nice too, but these are all first world wants.
