Dirtracerk27
I recently bought a truck and the box was sprayed badly to say it nicely and I want to remove it to repaint the box. Anyone have any ideas, tricks or tips to remove a spray on DIY bed liner? Any help would be great.
CadillacLuke24
I've heard that an orbital sander or grinder wheel works well. That or elbow grease and a chisel.
Dirtracerk27
Ok thanks. I was hoping there was some kind of removal solution to remove it or free it up other than sanding it out.
cjb321
Whatever the capacitors at our substation are filled with lol. We had one leak in the bed of the truck and it caused the factory bedliner to bubble up and now its pealing away. I'll ask the engineer next week to see what kind of oil it is if he's around. I was told by someone that it was just mineral oil but not sure.

Boardmember
The old caps have PCB oil? That might do it. A solution: tonneau cover!
Imcrazy
Post a pic, how bad is is? Maybe easier to just apply more bed liner material to level it out and cover it up. Anything that strips the bed liner will probably strip your paint as well.
