I love my new truck stock for stock it beats my 11 ram 1500 2wd hemi but after the tuner on ram it made it pretty quick

But enough of that i have the intune I2 off my ram

1. And i know its been asked but this is brand new (had 70miles) would gm see that i have tuned it i hear yes and no.

2. Would i run into a failed calibration issue. Like my 11 ram

I forgot to add turns out my dealership is a performance dealer, what does this really mean? I heard from someone on another forum they had a twin turbo instilled by the dealer cost per hr was higher but they warrantied it if something happened

Could i have the intune instilled?

I guess I would call the dealer and ask a few general questions about what they offer. Unless they maintain your warranty with any sort of tune they may offer, you'll be out of luck. If you tune it on your own, the powertrain warranty will be void in the eyes of GM.

Thanks i always hear, that dialbosport cant be seen when set back to stock even the company says it. But from others they said the dealer can see flash counts, etc. so thats why i am confused.

I really dont care a lot on the power gains a whole lot because this truck flat out gets it, but in town it would be nice 3:42s make it seem lazy off the line. Without giving it a whole lot of fuel

Thanks Steve

Dealer and GM will see the flash count (GM even states to VOID the warranty of ANY aftermarket cal has been preformed, its on their monthly shop reports) so the risk is always high. Either one of the can void the warranty, remember its a sales man job to push for income, over promise and under deliver. There are a few dealers that will back up their upgrades, have everything in writing, do not authorize until you have a contract.

Congrats on the truck, IMO I would wait until about 10,000-12,000 miles for tune or forced induction mods, these trucks seem to really settle in around that mileage.
