Help real quick. What did u pay for 100k warranty?

Recommended Posts

Heres the deal-

My dad was buying a dmax/allison and i was getting the 6.0.  We got great prices for the trucks.  Than the dealer tried to hit us up for 2800 for each 100k warranty.  We got them down to 2200 but still walked out.  Thats alot of money for a warranty.  We really need the warranty though because we put on alot of milage.  What did you guys pay for yours?

Don't know how much this is going to help.  We bought 4 trucks in one day and we payed $1000.00 a pop for our 100k warranty.  But here in KY seems like less people are out to f@*K you. Hope this helps.. By the way at anytime you can cancel your warranty and your payment will reflect the cancelation.

MRUSK,

Shoot me an e-mail I should be able to help you out if you are wanting a GM policy.

BDBWTE,

If you cancel any product on a loan the remaining balance of that product goes directly to the principal as if you made an extra pmt. They will not refigure your pmt. This is w/ all the lenders that I use (gmac, fmc and too many others to list)

On the wife's Mitsubishi Montero Sport the 100K warranty was almost 2 grand, but we got them down to $1100. Your salesman was a fool -- he talked his way out of 2 truck sales for a few hundred bucks on the extended warranties? What a loser. Everyone knows those things are grossly overpriced and the dealer has plenty of room to work the prices. Imbecile. Bet he hasn't been employee of the month for a long time.

The funny thing is, the guy was a guy who we knew, who is 2nd in command at the dealer. The sucker blew a 75k dollor sale. I bought 2500hd 6.0 at another dealer and got a good price on the warranty.

Two words. Gieco insurance. If you want to switch car insurance since your trucks are both new Gieco offer their extended warranty (100k) for $10 every six months. The only down side to this is the deductible ($250). It’s a great price for some piece of mind, I think of it as my tranny/engine insurance (to 100k at least). The extended warranty from the dealer sounds good until you try to get something repaired under it I had the mid level coverage for my S-10 and hand nothing but problems getting things done. Good Luck.
