2015 high country duramax electrical problems

It first started when I went to Texas and left my truck sit for two weeks I came back and started it up and the tach wouldn't work the radio didn't work no lights were on in the dash after it warmed up for a minute everything started working it has done it a few more times since and just today I drove it yesterday and then started it today and the same thing happened and after about three minutes it just started working. Have had the dealer look it over but of course haven't found anything. Taking back again this week just wondered if anybody has had this problem also

Had an 07 duramax that got fried from a lightning strike that was in close proximity to my truck. The Lightning Hit a big oak tree in my front yard, truck was about 20ft away, also fried the Ethernet port in my computer also. Luckily I was home when it happened otherwise I'd have been clueless as to the cause of the damage.

 

Dealer replaced bcm and pcm I believe after a few trips to dealer. That finally fixed my issues. They started out replacing little items first. Of course I didn't inform them of the lightning strike.

 

 

Could have been a similar occurrence. I've never had an electrical problem on any of my gm trucks before that or since.

Took it to the dealer and they found some newer software and reprogrammed the radio and hasn't done it yet basically what he said is they are trying to do too much with what they are putting in the trucks. Luckily they didn't care about the tuner and exhaust on the truck

Might check the voltage at the battery with a meter and double check the postive and negative connection just to be sure of the basic stuff.
