Trans Filter Part Number 08' 1500

I'm changing my buddy's trans filter and fluid on his 08' Silverado 1500 4x4 4.8 V8. Anyone have the AC Delco part number for the filter?

Also need the part number for the GM rear diff gasket ?

A good OEM parts store would be an excellent choice when looking up part numbers. Somewhere like "GMPartsDirect" will have all the information you need. All you have to do is take the time to look up the part numbers. If that won't work for you, I would think a GM dealer would be able to help you. Pick up the phone and give them a call. The dealership should have every AcDelco part numbers available because that's what they use.

Okay. I will call dealer. Gmpartsdirect doesn't list a gasket for the rear diff

If your Silverado gasket part number is the same as my 2011 1500 Silverado 4X4 you will not need a new one. My GM gasket is rubber over metal and is reusable several times.
