Question for those with metal mulisha exhaust.

If you lift the truck on a 2 post hoist with the suspension dangling, you won't have to cut it. If you try to remove the factory exhaust in 1 piece with weight on the suspension, you're going to have a tough fight.

Let me add some other thoughts on the system. Initially the lower end torque felt like it had dropped off. I did a 3 hour drive for a fishing trip this weekend and got about 14.5 mpg. That was with about 45 minutes of 85-90mph cruising on the toll road, I also use e85 exclusively.

On my return 3 hour trip back the truck felt like it had learned the new exhaust and the low end torque felt better. Maybe I just got used to it? My fuel mileage bumped up to almost 17mpg prior to hitting the toll road, when I averaged 70-75 mph. Doing 85-90 on the toll again my average went down to 16mpg.

I don't alter my driving style to increase mileage so I felt I stayed pretty consistent to and from my trip. There are no major hills in the part of Texas I was in so the driving terrain was consistent too.

I'm thinking about ordering the metal Mulisha exhaust. Does it seem like I would get pulled over just taking it easy? Also leaving for work at 5:30 in the morning I don't want to piss off the neighbors. What's your thoughts on that?

I posted a video on the first page of this thread. Check it out. To be honest on a true cold start the truck is "loud". It's more that the deep rumble of the exhaust resonates. I don't worry about waking up neighbors with it though.

If you get pulled over with this exhaust it's because a cop is looking for a reason to pull you over. Even at wide open throttle it's not as loud as most corvettes or other sports cars. Cruising it's barely noticeable and at moderate acceleration it's nothing to worry about.

Sweet I'll look into them. I was thinking about ordering from summit because I have done quite a bit of business with them. But they don't always have the best price.

I put it on last night, there is a drone in V4 mode, but feel it's not to bad. I think it's some what loud and sounds good. If you take it easy it won't be attract to much attention. If you get on it I think it's fairly loud. I'll try to get a video up this weekend.
