The 2014-15's 2500's and 1500's use the same headlights. These 2016 headlights will fit on both. The wiring was the issue...now resolved by ofer/jared.

It's only an issue if you don't have the SLT lights from the factory right? If you have SLTs then it should be direct PNP or no?

No GM uses a new round style plug where the 14-15 used the oval/rectangular plug. You will need an adapter/harness from the old style plug to the new style.

2016 headlights for both trucks are way nicer than their predecessors.. anyone claiming otherwise is envious..

nice job, truck is awesome.

If they are envious, wouldn't they say they are nice?

In the end, that's a pretty idiotic opinion. Yes they are nice, doesn't mean everyone will feel the same about them.

I prefer the older style too. No envy. If I wanted a '16 I would buy one.

No question the newer headlights work better, but the new style is just too suv-like for me. Wouldn't stop me from buying one, though. Both are way better looking than the competition.

But back to the point, the OP's truck is killer.

I have a 2016 Denali with the new headlights, and you are right. The LED head lights look like the Denali is wearing glasses... kinda geeky.. but I got used to it and I love how they light up the road.

Ha! Never thought about that.

Nice truck ! I'm sure you're loving it.

I just saw a '16 Denali on the road for the first time over the weekend. I must say the new grill looks way better in person. It reflects in the sunlight almost like glitter, but not in a bad way. Looks very "upscale".

Called my local dealership to check on getting the headlight TSB upgrade. They informed me that since the mileage on my 14 sierra is at 55k they would charge me to do the TSB. Said new bulbs are about 30 bucks each and the BCM unit and dash had to be reflashed, wanted $379.86 total with taxes to do the job. Has anyone else been able to get the upgrade done after the 36k mileage warranty period is out? Not even sure if it is worth any effort from posts here it sounds like there is actually little if any improvement and probably shortened bulb life?

This are the connectors for those of you who want to DIY

Look at this on eBay:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/260875596557

1 Harley 8X BLACK FEMALE OEM Molex MX150 connector + terminals switch wiring 07+

It might be just matter of repining for those with slt headlgiths plus some resistors for the led turn signal. And for those with regular headlights, I added a nc/no relay to my silverado so it might be the same for the sierras.
