Hi all. I'm about to take a small road trip to the baytown/Houston area and was wanting to try out some e85. Does anyone know anywhere around that area that carries that fuel?

Actually, in a FFV truck, the ethanol content sensor detects it as soon as the E85 flows through it. The PCM adapts soon after, about several miles later.

Actually, in the 2014+ FF trucks, the PCM adapts instantaneously. That's what the sensor is for. Mixture, timing, etc, are all set properly for the mixture of fuel before it even gets to the engine.

All well and good but unless you drain the tank, you're getting something diluted at a time of year when the fuel is already diluted to begin with.

Even if I have a 1/4 tank of 87 and fill up on E85, I can feel the difference pretty quick. E85 really wakes the truck up.
