I missed where you asked for suggestions for a first time truck owner. I would say get some good splash guards, I never had 'em on a vehicle until I started driving a truck but, it makes a big difference. Also if you have Goodyear SRA tires on there goto your nearest discount tire and buy something better, they will give you a credit for the rubber on the truck now, I got $200 for my SRA take offs.
