In-Dash Navigation versus OnStar Navigation

Recommended Posts

I did the update on my maps prior to a trip I took and the maps where not up to date. I knew I would be going down I49 and it had been over a year since my last trip. They are building this now moving north.

The part I drove on over a year ago wasn't even on the map and this was the latest release... 175.00 for nothing ... Could used google map on my phone instead.

You'll have to get a module swapped out to do this. Contact MVI on here and they can help you get that.

Anyone know if I can get the in dash nav maps installed on my 16' Silverado. I have thee 8" screen but the Navy is only turn by turn. I like seeing the map!!! My 13' Tahoe has the maps and I love it. I want maps on my Silverado.

The Onstar nav is a joke. Not only is it the most basic you can get, but you have to call Onstar and someone has to look up the address. Mine doesn't have the in-dash nav but I'm fine with that since my phone is just as good as a separate GPS like Garmin or Tom Tom.
