No problem. I didn't install the lights my self I worked it out with the dealer. They were excited because they didn't know the lights existed until I told them about them. Not something I would normally do but when you spend that much on the truck they can throw you a bone. I haven't see the instructions my self, but best I can tell the truck is already partly wired for this. I just checked under the drivers side bed and you can see the harness come down from the lights and plugs into the factory into the factory harness. They installed a new head light switch, with the option for the fog lights and the driving lights(and yes you can drive with all the lights on at the same time, looks really cool at night). The cluster has a secondary light to denote that the driving lights are on. I'm not sure if this is in all trucks or only the all terrain. I believe this is similar to how the under rail bed lights are wired. All the GM trucks of this generation have the switch on the dash for the cargo light and adding the under rail light is as easy as plugging them into the module in the truck. No programing required. As for the driving lights, I would recommend them they are very bight and work well is rain and snow. As I said earlier a ridge led light set would run between 6 and 8 hundred and still need to be wired off the battery and a switch installed in the cab. These were $1,000 and work seamless with the truck. Oh one more thing the part number for the kit is 23415424. There are two kits one for fog lights and the other with out, I guess they have a different switch. Be careful for non-all terrain owners, this kit is for a truck with fog lights.

I am not exactly sure how to post pictures but if someone can tell me ill post the pictures of the lights and switch.

let me know if you have any other questions, ill be happy to answer.

Thanks

Thanks for the info!!!! I did partially take the sports bar off the bed and there was wiring there but I think that goes to the 3rd brake light on the bar. I'll have to get under the bed to see if there are more wires going in or out. I cant wait to see pictures!!!!

I just did a BAK Revolver X2 with some minor mods to the rails around the rear sport bar mount. Came out very good.

Can you send me some pics and exactly how you did it. I just tried today but I can't roll the cover up all the way. I want to try and keep it as clean as possible.

New to the forums. I just picked up a 2016 All Terrain X a few weeks ago and I'm loving it so far. I wasn't feeling the sport bar so I asked the dealer to pull it off for me and toss it in the bed. Just as I was about to hop in and pull away I thought to myself I should probably test the cab brake light and sure enough it was dead. I wished I had seen this thread ahead of time because I was there another 3 hours before the tech figured out how to get it working again. He said he couldn't find anything in the GM resources he had. Poor guy was stuck but he wasnt going to give up. He finally figured it out and had me on my way. I have the bar sitting in my garage in hopes to sell it on craigs list or something. It is practically brand new and has all the hardware and wiring on it. Is there anyone that would be interested in picking one up? I am in the Northern Virginia area. Shoot me a PM if you might be interested.

I am confused on that site. Doesnt say anywhere its for a bed with a sports bar. I did 2016 Sierra with the shortest bed.

It explains right here that you use the quikfoot system they invented

http://rollnlock.com/truck-bed-products/qwikfoot#filter/2016 Look around the site a little. You will find what you need.

Just looking at the pictures I dont see how that will work with the All Terrain X sports bar. The feet are totally different. Guess I'll email them to see if they will work or not. Thanks for the info!! :)

That sounds like the best solution. Let me know what you find out from them please.

Got an email response from them:

"The Qwikfoot is only available for oversea trucks for mounting style bars they are not available for US model trucks. They will not work for your application truck if you have any other questions let me know."

Thanks I actually went with a soft cover with a tensioner control that runs along bed rails instead of on them. It will be here Wednesday. I'll be installing it that day. They claim 30 minute set-up time on them. The one I ordered is: Truxedo 571801 Silverado/Sierra 1500 5' 8" Lo Pro Qt. The website said it wouldn't fit my truck on eBay so I did a little digging and found out that it was just eBay acting up because I ran it on another site for compatibility and it matched up to my 2016.

Truxedo has updated their ordering options for a "w/ Factory Sport Bar" FYI
