Hey guys, this is my first post on the forum. I am a F-15 Crew Chief in the Air Force and this is my first new truck I have owned. I owned a bagged Ford Ranger and slammed F150 prior to joining and got shipped off to Okinawa, JP where I owned a Jzx100(basically a turbo 4 door sedan) and had a lot of fun in that car. A little bit after our PCS, I bought the truck new from the dealer and so far I really am happy with the truck and overall my favorite of all the vehicles I have owned. Here is a few things that I have done so far, some of the OEM equipment that came with the truck, and a extra long list of stuff to get done. Hopefully taxes bangs that list out a little bit. ^^ If anyone has any questions about anything that I have done to the truck so far, feel free to ask and I will gladly help you out. I do plan on doing everything on the to do list myself with the exception of the re-gear, tint, and painting the tailgate handle. Thanks for looking!

Tailgate Fully De-Badged and Exhaust installed

I cut the resonator off initially, but gained no sound. So I moved up to the muffler and sounded decent in higher rpms, but idle was too low for me. Finally I moved up to the third cat and like an idiot cut the Y pipe off about an inch from the O2 sensors behind the first two cats on both pipes, so basically had angled true dual turn downs under the cab which had an awesome idle, but were far too loud going down the road in the cab and got a check engine light. Long story short got straight pipes welded in place where I cut to 5 inch tips at 45 degrees and am completely happy with how quiet this new truck cab is and no crackling or popping with the exhaust. I guess you learn from your mistakes right? Also, check engine light is good to go and no issues.

Thanks fellas. Should be purchasing the lift, wheels, and tires within the next couple weeks. The rims are on national back order for a couple months unfortunately, but they are the only wheels I really want to spend that much money on.

How do you like the Blackhawk intake? Any throttle or MPG gains? I always lose MPG because I can't keep my foot off the gas with these mods...
