Yeah, I was sitting here thinking I gotta go in for repairs till I seen it may just be common to the truck. No big deal but I sure thought it was very tight.

Glad to see this came up as I was going to ask around. It was -3 and felt like manual steering for about 20 min. Looks like we're all experiencing it.

there is some sort of issue.

My '14 the temperature makes no difference with the steering.

My '17 loaner had stiffer steering when cold, very noticeable difference in cold temps between the two vehicles.

Not even a clue what the problem could be

The last couple of days I really noticed how stiff my steering can get.  It was -20 F this morning and it really got stiff during my drive to work.  Anyone know if the dealership has any fix for this at all?  I'm fine if not but wanted to ask.

Thanks

Same here had to use both hands to turn the truck and I'm not weak by any means lol ,my 16 never had a issue with stiff steering in the winter..weird.

I have a 16 in Wisconsin, and it has been tough to turn the past few days. Even seems harder to get in gear. Been a while since it’s been this cold without the TV talking about vortexes and such.
