2012 4x4 to 2 wd or awd swap

Ok guys I have a 2012 ext short bed that I'm taking payments over on. I was wondering how hard it would be to make it as close to a factory 2 wheel drive or awd as I can get. I want to build a performance truck. It has the 5.3, I was thinking twin turbo charged 408 ls build all forged. I'm just wondering if a 2wd swap was possible without major fab work. Or would an awd swap be easier? Could it handle a lot of power? I would rather do a 2wd swap to be honest. I searched all over and all I can find are 2wd to 4x4 not the other way around.

This one makes me scratch my head as to why, you want to go to 2wd from 4wd. Well you can just leave all the 4wd stuff in there and not use it or you can take the front diff, cv axle shafts and front driveshaft out and call it a day. Now if you want to go the factory 2wd set up in the front with coil springs your looking at major fab work and iam almost 100% positive the frames are different on a 2wd and a 4wd truck in the front. I have never heard someone wanting to go to 2wd from 4wd.
