^^^^^^ lol.. i'll take a ride with you and show you what all of us are talking about.. they all have the vibration just at varying levels!

I've had it up to 100mph or whatever max mph is limited to maybe 6 or 7 different times and thankfully, no vibration. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones.

5.3 / 4x4 / 3:08 / Z71 good pusher, quiet and smooth, plenty of power off the line and passes slow pokes very quickly.

If you think that 3.08 rear end pushes and has power try the 3.42 on your next truck.

I test drove both the 3.42 and the 3.08 back to back, ran 'em both like I stole 'em, got scolded by the dealer and everything.

I bought the 3.08 because I could not tell any difference between them, and since I drive 99% highway miles, I got the 3.08, hoping for better mpg's. Today I have just over 24,000 miles on it and so far have zero regrets and am still very happy with it.

Edited for correctness...

In short though no they don't, in the sheer numbers you are way off to say all. It is well known people join a forum to complain, these numbers here are first of all skewed and second of all if they do a poll will show it is a small amount overall. There was a poll asking who loved/hated their trucks and only a small percentage hated them, if you had this problem you would hate it and the results would be much different, but they aren't.

Never heard any of the tests or reviews mention anything about a vibration. If I were to venture a guess out of the entire million plus truck sold the vibration percentage is actually closer to lower single digit in terms of percentage who have them. Mine doesn't vibrate, and I have tons of fresh new highway (both concrete and asphalt) to drive on.

Sorry your truck shakes, but to slander the trucks and turn off others saying it is all of them when that couldn't be further from the truth is sad and petty. Have them fix your truck, if they can't lemon law it and move on. If you don't want to buy a GM then don't, but don't go telling others what their truck does or does not do and go spitting lies that ALL trucks do to make yourself feel better.

First page alone it was about 20-2 no vibration to vibration

Did they ever do a poll in that huge vibration thread? Would love to see the results... Actually anyone ever do a separate poll in its own thread?

Funny how the thread got hijacked with the vibration crew. I always thought complaints and problems followed under the "Issues, troubleshooting, and recall/tsb" section. Lately it's been cluttering up the main section of the K2XX area of this forum.
