JRaschke11
Does anyone know of a light bar that has an actual cutoff, so I can run it on the road on the front of my truck? I am thinking of getting a bully bar for the front similar to what Seelteem1 did in the attached photo. I would prefer a reliable brand name, and would like them to have a cutoff so I can adjust them and not blind other drivers. I know there are plenty of light bars out there, but I can't find any information about a cutoff line on specific models. Thanks.
avgas
I am unclear on what you mean by a cut off. You could wire this using a relay so that the light bar comes on with the high beam lights. I'm not sure if that's what your looking to do but that is a pretty easy thing to do.
kj3475
Negative. All bars are full on blind the s out of everyone. Rigid makes sae comp fogs& and driving lights that have cut off but no bars. Fwiw, none of the chinese knock offs compare to brightness and light throw of rigid. Expenisve as hell and worth it if you want the brightest bars on the road. kj3475
it's dangerous to flash me on the road.... after a flash back, you see spots for about 5min. I have a relay wired for high beam trigger.

A light cutoff point, just like the fog lights and low beam headlights. A line where there is no light, so I can drive with them on the road and not blind other drivers. I want to be able to adjust where the light pattern cuts off at the top. I have the Morimoto XB LED fogs and HID kit that I have to install over this Christmas break. I just like the look of the bully bar and a light bar. Looks aggressive, but I wouldn't do it unless I could turn it on all the time and actually show it off. avgas
I have never seen a light bar with any option like that. I know that around here the cops would be on you like white on rice for driving around with a light bar like that turned on. I'm not sure why you would need to run a light like that in city limits. I can see the advantage on the highway when high beams are required. I still don't understand why people drive around with fog lights on when it's not foggy. Don't get me wrong, I love lights and some may say it's a fetish but use them when you need them.
crafferty
Lights are not made to be used as driving light, plain and simple. It'd be like use an outdoor spot light that shoots into the sky a desk lamp. Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
