Hi Folks,

Just wanted to share my excitement.... I'm the proud owner of a 2015 Silverado LT Crew 5.3L in Tungsten Metallic, born 8/2015. I bought it 11/30 and took it home 12/1. I've put on about 600 miles and so far no complaints on fit/finish/performance.

I do think the truck prefers premium gas... The first "complementary" tank full was 87. For the second tank full I put in 91 and the truck's acceleration feels smoother and more responsive to me. This of course could be that the truck is just more "broken in"... I just put in my 3rd tank this morning, also 91.

I've made a few additions since the above photo was taken

- An American Tonneau hard trifold cover

- A GM drop in bed liner

- Dee Zee bed mat (bought it thinking it would save me from a liner... now it keeps stuff from sliding around on the liner)

- Husky weather-beater floor mats

- Hitchmate cargo stabilizer bar and net

This is my first pickup truck.

Thanks for indulging my enthusiasm. Happy Holidays!

Bertiman

Congratulations on the new truck! Glad too there are actually people in the world you like their K2XX and don't join to complain lol. I can say you will love your Husky Weatherbeater floor mats. I made a conscious effort to not remove mine for a complete year and the results were far better than any Weather Techs I have owned. There was absolutely no spills or direct under my mats except for dog hair (I swear it gets everywhere)! I would caution the use of a drop in bed liner as they do trap dirt and water between the line and the bed which can cause rusting down the road.

Nice! Congrats! My wife is constantly jealous of my truck hahaha I've had her now for a year and even though I've had the typical GM (minor) issues I am still very much obsessed with it.

Now if only I had a lottery ticket to feed the mod bug...

Best of luck!

Jon

Thanks! I was concerned about the drop-in... but, the tonneau cover does a great job of keeping the water out (already went through a few very heavy rains and a brushless/high pressure car wash and everything in the bed remained nice and dry.
