MPG look any better?

Also do you have a link to the gear set? I tried looking and then remembered it all looks like Greek to me [emoji28]

So far I gained 2.5 miles on the highway, and I don't have a link, I delete all that already, just tell them what you have and and what you want and they'll send you a list of things, even a new yoke

So would my best bet be to switch to the stock v6 4x4 assembly, gears, differential? I think those come with the 3.42 and the g80. I mean something that comes from a stock one should fit no?

Not necessarily... I would go with a aftermarket Ring and Pinion (ratio of your choice) and a Tru-Trac Diff.

Perfect HWY RPM's especially when towing... You will love your truck even more now. I can't wait to do my 3.73's

Yeah the RPM's are perfect, I'm really surprised about how gears can do so much,

Gears were the biggest performance mod I did to my 02 Silvy by far. The tuner was okay, but when I combined the two it just made the truck so much fun to drive. Regret selling the darn thing but oh well

Yeah I think it was a good move to do the gears, I read a lot about it on here and am glad that I did them now, definitely a huge difference in performance, I'm more happy for finally being able to use 6th gear and it not down shifting when going over a bridge or a hill

To keep it on a budget, do you think if I were able to get from a junk yard the whole read differential, axels that had the 3.72 would that work just like a straight swap? And then just tune the truck.

As long as the assembly has low miles you would be fine. Just as an FYI they are 3.73 gears [emoji106]

And so you will know what to look for...The 9.76 Max Tow package rear axles will have the 3.73 gears.

Should be able to get a 2010-2013 3.73 G80 locker for fairly cheap i would think. Would you be putting it in yourself? pinion angle is important. Since you are looking at swapping out the whole rear axle, pinion to ring tooth engagement would still be good.

Nice mesh pattern on yours btw Clint!
